OUR TEAM
Associate Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, School of Engineering. His research field is operations management, specifically on topics regarding optimization of pricing and inventory policies and optimal scheduling of work shifts. He has participated in several research, teaching and consulting projects with the private sector, in companies such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Enron, UPS, Falabella, Matrix Group, Sodimac, Banco Santander, Codelco, among others. He has also partaken in several projects in the public sector: Fondecyt, Fondef and FDI-Corfo.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Master of Engineering Sciences from Universidad Católica. He has 10 years of experience leading teams and implementing highly complex solutions for people management in large chain stores in Chile and Latin America, including Sodimac in Chile, Argentina and Colombia, as well as DyS, Tottus, among others. At Shift, he is responsible for R&D projects and a committee for the creation of new products and business lines. He is one of the founders and creators of Shift’s Workforce Management software, which runs in 10 Latin American countries and incorporates forecasting and work shift optimization models.
Commercial Engineer with over 6 years of experience at Shift and 18 years of experience in the sale of technological solutions for different markets and industries. He currently serves as Project Manager for Sodimac Chile, Falabella Externos, Enjoy Chile, among other Shift clients. In this role, he demonstrates a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to reach agreements in the different projects he is involved with.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Computer Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has 10 years of experience in efficiency and labor productivity projects in countries such as Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Certification in Computer Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With over 8 years of experience in IT Projects, he has participated in new developments, implementation of projects and customer support, overseeing IT operations.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Certification in Information Technology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has 8 years of experience as Software and IT Projects Engineer at Shift. She has played different roles in some of Shift’s big undertakings: Sodimac, Cruz Verde, Grupo Ramos, Etafashion, Ransa, Enjoy, among others, as well as in major R&D projects related to Human Capital Management.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Specialization in Transportation and Logistics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has 6 years of experience in labor efficiency and productivity projects with a focus on retail and service companies in Chile and Latin America, including Tottus, Sodimac, Falabella, Cruz Verde, Enjoy, VTR, CMR, Corona, Ripley, Walmart, Modella Group, among others.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Specialization in Transportation and Logistics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also serves as project manager and supervisor of the productivity consultants team working in industries such as retail, distribution and services. He has participated in projects for Ripley, Maicao, Sodimac Bodegas, Tradis, Hellmann, among other companies. Prior to joining Shift, he had 3 years of experience working as a consultant for the logistics consulting company Miebach Consulting.
Civil Industrial Engineer with a Specialization in Transportation and Logistics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Prior to joining Shift, he worked for the plastic manufacturer Wenco from 2012 to mid-2019, where he developed both optimization and mathematical models and systems to assist in the making of production decisions.

OUR STORY

Under the wing of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Engineering, an academic study is conducted that would be the forerunner of Shift. This research was used by a major Chilean retailer.
2007
2006
Due to the study’s success, Shift is born as a business unit within Universidad Católica (DICTUC). This year is marked by the development of the first version of our work shift management software.
2008
2008
The team grows and so does our good reputation. We get our first client in the supermarket industry.
2009

We cross borders for the first time. This year we got our first client outside of Chile.
2010

As a result of the accumulated experience, our expert Consulting team consolidates and, to this day, continues to add value to clients from different industries.

We face great challenges: we get our first clients in the hotel, restaurant, casino and financial services businesses.
2015

Due to the robustness of our service and the confidence of our customers, Shift becomes a spin-off of DICTUC. In addition, this year we moved to a new office as the team continued to grow.

In order to continue expanding to other Latin American countries, this year we open our office in Lima, Peru.
2018

The first rewards of the Peru expansion come up, and we conquer our first clients in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Uruguay.

Our R&D department gets stronger. As a complement to our shift planning solution, we complete +10 solutions to meet different client needs.

We were awarded the tender to manage the workforce of the Falabella Group in the Falabella Retail, Sodimac and Tottus businesses. Shift becomes a strategic partner of the Group, managing +500 department stores and managing the shifts of +90,000 workers in 7 Latin American countries.
Today
We are at the top of the workforce management market in Latin America. Our technology and consulting support solutions are backed by the major companies that trust us.
